While the environmental field in The Bahamas may be small, it contains a variety of niches waiting to be filled by savvy, open-minded, and ambitious Bahamians. Wild Bahamas seeks to help train persons in fields such as wildlife identification, wildlife handling, data collection, and even creative expression, giving people the tools to help navigate the environmental field in The Bahamas. Additionally, we understand that environmental conservation has to be holistic in its approach, encompassing both conservation and development segments. Therefore, we support training and continued building of awareness around the concept of sustainable development with a focus on using more nature base solutions to solve development issues. Our desire is to find a balance between the two equally important worlds for our country.
