A Commitment to conservation

Wild Bahamas has committed to offering six (6) main services that will continue to support the development of conservation leaders in The Bahamas. They are:

Education— This is the heart of Wild Bahamas. We pride ourselves on providing the best and most reliable information, equipped with vibrant pictures to aid in the identification of organisms through various print materials and blog posts.

Training— Where interested persons can participate in various courses comprised of both theory and practical components to enhance their knowledge and improve skills about terrestrial ecosystems and biodiversity. Skills learnt can assist resource managers with best practices for dealing with regular human-wildlife conflicts and assist with building livelihoods through eco-tourism and other environmental fields.

Wildlife Relocations and Field Surveys—Having seasoned Biologists in the field to properly assess a habitat is crucial for decision makers and environmental mitigation activities necessary for sustainable development and minimizing damage to Bahamian terrestrial habitats. With over 30 years of combined expertise in wildlife and environmental work, Wild Bahamas is well-equipped to carry out comprehensive field assessments and provide professional animal removal services.

Research— Where persons can read and learn about some of the research initiatives, focused on terrestrial biodiversity, that have been undertaken in The Bahamas over the years.

Tours— One of the most delightful aspects of tours is the opportunity they provide for exploration and learning. Whether it's marveling at the grandeur of natural landscapes such as blue holes in Andros or uncovering hidden gems off the beaten path like trace fossils in Eleuthera, tours open doors to a world of knowledge and wonder, creating an immersive experience that linger in memory long after the adventure concludes.

Coereba Art—Art and the environment are deeply interconnected, with many artists using their work to raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire change. Through various mediums, from sculptures to painting, artists explore the beauty of nature, highlight the impact of human activity on the planet, and encourage sustainable practices through their work. Coereba Art, a branch of Wild Bahamas seeks to promote conservation and education of wildlife and natural ecosystems through artistic expression.
